Refocusing Beyond Life's Distractions

This week's #RefocusRecap explored three different ways in which we can approach life.


1. Action without Intention: In other words, we find ourselves simply re-acting. Reacting to the people around us, to the circumstances that we find ourselves in and to the challenges that we face daily. This can cause us to become disoriented and constantly frustrated because we feel a persistent lack of control.



2. Intention without Action: We can have all of the possible intentions but they're offset by a lack of action. We find ourselves constantly at a standstill- yes not going backwards, but not moving forward either. This can be a very sad way of being because it’s filled with “would ofs, could ofs and wanted tos” yet with not many achievements to note.


3. Action + Intention: The last way of living, the way that we are promoting and centering this podcast around, is one where our actions are guided by intentions. Where we’re not just “stuck” in the current stage of our life but are actively pursuing the next level, whether it be in our relationships, our health, our  career, etc. This way of looking and interacting with the world is how we’re hoping that we can tap into that purpose driven living.
