1. Coordinate your decisions, actions and desires. A refocus lifestyle is one where you make mindful decisions, aligning your desires with your actions, that is mentally, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
2. Incorporate mindfulness into your daily habits. Mindful practices in the different areas of wellness could be done by incorporating small additions to our lives. For instance it could be taking daily pauses from the hectic lives we live in by walking slower to our desks at work, parking the car consciously, washing the dishes and appreciating what we’re doing while we are doing it. Even if it is small tasks, they have the potential of being meaningful. Mindfulness does not only occur on a yoga mat or a quiet space, for some, dancing, singing, writing can lead to inner silence. Find what works for you.
3. The best day to start is today. Shifting our energy to a more refocused living takes time, effort, and of course, patience. The key is to start now, come up with a plan, start exploring and experimenting NOW. Not later, not tomorrow, because tomorrow, well... procrastination and leaving things for later is never a guarantee that those things will actually get done. The only thing that is certain is that the longer we procrastinate, the longer we keep ourselves from tapping into our full potential.
